TANZANIA REPTILE RESEARCH

The  Ruaha National park is embarking on research on Tanzania's reptiles. The plan is to add variety for tourism offerings . Once complete it will probably be the first serious study on snakes to be conducted in the country's parks..

EU set to impose additional tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles

WHO reports human case of bird flu in India

The World Health Organization has confirmed a case of human infection with bird flu in India.

The United Nations agency says that the infection caused by the H9N2 virus was detected in a four-year-old child in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal.

Indian security forces engage in gun-fight with militants in Kashmir

Hunter Biden guilty, after jury deliberates for only three hours

The son of US President Joe Biden has been found guilty of three criminal charges related to the illegal purchase of a gun.
During the trial, there were many witnesses including from the Biden family who spoke of his drug use in and around the time he bought the gun in 2018.

US Port of Baltimore fully reopens after bridge collapse

The Port of Baltimore shipping channel has fully reopened, more than two months after a collapsed bridge brought water traffic to a standstill.


In March, a cargo ship crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in the US state of Maryland - six construction workers were killed in the incident.


A clean-up effort has been underway since then, with thousands of tons of wreckage removed from the busy channel.

US Secretary of State urges Hamas to agree to ceasefire proposal, following UN Security Council vote

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says if the proposed ceasefire agreement in Gaza fails, only Hamas will be to blame.

World leaders set to fly into southern Italy for G7 summit

Eight people have died in eastern India in the last three days, of suspected heatstroke.
