CHINESE-MADE EV REGISTRATIONS JUMP ALMOST 25% IN EUROPE

The number of Chinese-made EVs registered in Europe has jumped almost a quarter this year according to new analysis. 

The new data comes as EU leaders mull following the US in increasing tariffs on Chinese-made cars in an effort to protect European vehicle makers.

Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer will face off in their first televised debate of the UK election campaign later (2000GMT Tuesday).

The head-to-head debate comes as a series of polls show Prime Minister Sunak's Conservatives trailing Keir Starmer's Labour Party by a wide margin ahead of the July 4th vote.

UN says Israel not allowing educational material into Gaza

US Congress investigates Covid-19 origins

Anthony Fauci is being grilled in the United States Congress today (Monday), facing unfounded allegations from lawmakers that he attempted to cover up the origins of Covid-19.
