Air India Express sacks protesting employees amid large-scale flight disruptions

Air India Express, a budget subsidiary of Tata Group's Air India, has reportedly sacked at least 30 cabin crew, a day after 300 employees called in sick.

Four arrested for duping Indian men into fighting for Russia in Ukraine

Indian police have arrested four people who they say are linked to a network of human traffickers who have lured men to Russia and forced them to fight in the war in Ukraine.

Russia bats for India over Sikh separatist assassination plot

Russia has accused the US of making "unfounded accusations" against India, following allegations that Indian officials were involved in a plot to assassinate a Sikh separatist leader on American soil.

Biden threatens to withdraw weapons shipments if Israel attacks Rafah

US President Joe Biden says that if Israel launches an all-out assault on Rafah in the Gaza Strip, he will withhold further weapons supplies from Benjamin Netanyahu's government.


He made the threat hours after America's defense secretary confirmed that one weapons shipment has already been held back, due to the crisis unfolding in the Palestinian territory.

Sec Austin says US concerns over planned Israeli invasion of Rafah paused weapons shipment

There is still no sign of a breakthrough in Egyptian-mediated talks between Israel and Hamas but negotiations are continuing in Cairo.


Meanwhile the director of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency is reported to have been in Israel meeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.


In Washington, the US Defense Secretary has publicly acknowledged that the decision to hold up weapon shipments to Israel was linked to its plans for a large offensive in the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

Georgia Appeals Court to review decision not to disqualify Fani Willis as the DA prosecuting Trump

Georgia's state Court of Appeals has agreed to review a lower court's decision not to disqualify Fani Willis as the District Attorney prosecuting former US President Trump in his election interference case in the state.

Trump's classified documents case postponed indefinitely
