India says awaiting details from Canada on Indians arrested

Sources in the India government say they'll wait for Canadian authorities to share more details on the arrest of three Indian nationals.

Police in Canada say the men have been arrested for possible involvement in the death of a Sikh separatist leader.

Last year, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had claimed Indian government agents had a possible role in his killing, a charge New Delhi denied.

Speaking over the weekend, India's Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar once again dismissed the allegations of India's involvement and accused Canada of harbouring 'wanted criminals'.

Houthi rebel group offers places at Yemeni universities for suspended US students

A US-designated terrorist organisation is offering places at universities in Yemen for students who've been suspended from American colleges after staging anti-Israel protests.

Police have arrested more than 1000 people stateside after protests and Gaza solidarity encampments took hold at major schools nationwide, with students and staff demanding a boycott of companies or individuals with ties to Israel.
