Reddit begins trading on New York Stock Exchange

Social media giant Reddit began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday.

The platform priced its initial public offering on Wednesday at $34 a share - it's the first major social media site to go public since 2019.

Centre-right given mandate to form government in Portugal


In Portugal, the leader of the centre-right Democratic Alliance party has been invited to try to form a government after inconclusive elections earlier this month.
