SEC AUSTIN IN GERMANY TO TALK UKRAINE'S DWINDLING AMMUNITION SUPPLIES

America's Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin will lead a high level meeting in Germany today to discuss Ukraine's growing shortfall of ammunition. 

The meeting follows repeated pleas from Kyiv to American politicians to work together to help replenish its dwindling supplies of artillery shells and air defense missiles.

US Warned Niger About Ties to Russia, Iran Before Junta Revoked Accord, Pentagon says

A Final round of talks underway between IMF and Pakistan

5.7m French civil servants called to strike

Terror group ADF Slip into Uganda

Foreign students attacked in India over Ramadan prayers at a university

Indian authorities have arrested five people in connection to an assault on international students last weekend in a university hostel during Ramadan prayers.


The attack took place in Ahmedabad in Prime Minister Modi's home state of Gujarat.

Bank of Japan scraps negative interest rates

The Bank of Japan is lifting its benchmark interest rate for the first time since 2007.

Supreme Court blocks controversial Texas immigration law

The U.S. Supreme Court has blocked a controversial immigration law
from taking effect in Texas until further notice.

Senate Bill 4 would give police the power to detain people suspected
of crossing the U.S. southern border without documentation.

US gun rights group take New York official to court over free speech

The US Supreme Court is hearing arguments over whether a New York state official can be sued for violating the National Rifle Association's right to free speech.


The NRA claims Maria Vullo, the former superintendent of the New York Department of Financial Services, persuaded banks and insurance companies to sever ties with the gun rights group.


Vullo's lawyers say the lawsuit fails to show her conduct "crossed the line between permissible persuasion and unconstitutional coercion."

Trump unable to secure $464 million bond in New York fraud case

Donald Trump has not been able to get a bond to secure the $464 million fraud judgement against him, according to his lawyers.


In February, a Manhattan judge ordered the former President and his co-defendants to pay that amount in damages and interest for violating New York anti-fraud laws.


Trump's team say they have approached thirty underwriters to back the bond - but the companies require cash to back the bond, not properties.

Uber pays $178m settlement with Australian drivers

US company Uber has agreed to pay $178 million dollars to settle a
lawsuit with thousands of taxi drivers in Australia.

The drivers brought the class action suit claiming they lost income
