French farmers are continuing with their protests and road blockades despite fresh government measures.

Tractor convoys are blocking the main trunk roads in and out of Paris for a third day, despite new financial support being announced by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife sent to jail for 14 years over corruption charges.


Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife have been sentenced to 14 years in jail, for allegedly selling state gifts.
The sentencing comes a day after the former cricketer, who's been in jail since August last year, was sent to jail for 10 years for allegedly leaking state secrets.

UK GOVT TO PUBLISH DEAL TO RESTORE NI POWER-SHARING

The UK government is expected to publish details of a post-Brexit deal later designed to restore power-sharing in Northern Ireland.

Indian Navy rescues three hijacked ships in three days

For the third time in as many days, India's Navy has rescued a vessel that was hijacked by Somali pirates.

UK Train Strike Disruption

A fresh wave of strikes is causing widespread disruption across the UKs rail network. 

A number of rail operators have cancelled all services on Tuesday as train drivers from the Aslef Union begin the first in a number of rolling walkouts over a long running pay dispute.
