Intense fighting has seen the deadliest day for the Israel Defence Forces in Gaza since the conflict began, with 24 Israeli soldiers killed.

The House of Lords has voted against the Government's controversial UK- Rwanda Treaty.
For the first time, the UK's upper house of parliament has voted to delay ratifying a Treaty, which is central to the Government's plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda.

New Strikes Against Houthi Rebels
Fresh strikes have been carried out against Houthi rebels in Yemen.
A joint statement by the UK and US described the action 'as proportionate and necessary' following continued attacks against international shipping and naval vessels transiting the red sea.
According to the Pentagon the strikes hit 8 targets, including an underground storage site as well as Houthi missile and surveillance capability.
The latest strikes follow an initial operation earlier this month.
