Former Sierra Leone President Charged With Treason Over Foiled Coup

Clinton & Trump among Epstein court document names

Former US presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump are among the list
of people named in court documents with connections to the late sex
offender Jeffrey Epstein.

A judge in New York allowed the release of the papers as part of a
lawsuit related to Epstein's associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is
serving a 20-year jail sentence for sex-trafficking crimes.

Epstein took his own life while awaiting trial in New York in 2019.

Japan Says Coast Guard Plane in Airport Crash Wasn't Cleared For Take Off


Authorities in Japan say the coast guard plane that collided with a passenger jet at Tokyo's Haneda Airport wasn't cleared for take off when the accident took place.

Trump appeals to Supreme Court over Colorado ballot removal

Donald Trump has asked the US Supreme Court to overturn a Colorado ruling removing him from the state's upcoming primary ballot.


Colorado's highest court ruled last month that the former president was ineligible to hold office due to his role in the January 6th Capitol riot.

10-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murder after another 10-year-old shot dead

A 10-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of killing another child with his father's gun in the US state of California.

Biden address to attack Trump on democracy

US President Joe Biden's re-election campaign says he'll be making a major speech this week to mark the anniversary of the attacks on the Capitol building.


His January 6th address, planned at a historic Revolutionary War site, will be used to make the case that his top rival for the Oval Office, Donald Trump, poses an existential threat to democracy.


It comes three years after a deadly riot in which a mob of supporters of then-President Trump stormed the United States Congress in Washington DC in an effort to overturn his loss to Mr Biden in 2020.

India's truck drivers call off protest after govt assurances on new hit-and-run law

Truckers in India who were on a nationwide transport strike, in protest against a new law that would enforce stringent punishment for hit-and-run cases, are back at work.

TANZANIA CROCODILE CASE
