Critics Call UK PM's Claim To Have Cleared Asylum Application Backlog “False”


The UK Prime Minister's claim to have cleared the country's asylum application backlog has been branded as "false" and "misleading" by critics. 


The government had pledged to clear thousands of backlogged claims by the end of 2023, but critics say in reality the backlog has increased.

Hungarian Catholic Church Opposes Blessing of Same-Sex Couples

Russia carries out major attack against Ukraine

At least five people have been killed and 92 are injured after Russia carried out one of its largest attacks against Ukraine on Tuesday. India's National Commission for Women has released a new report saying that over 28,000 complaints on crimes against women were registered in 2023.

COVID-19 cases rise in India

India reported close to 600 cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours which includes about 200 cases of the new Omicron sub-variant JN.1.

In response to the uptick, the Indian government has urged state governments to remain vigilant and prepared.

More court documents to be unsealed this week naming Jeffrey Epstein's associates

India launched its first satellite to study black holes
