The United States and Mexico are hailing what both countries call "important and productive" talks aimed at stemming the flow of migrants to the US.
America's top diplomat Antony Blinken visited Mexico on Wednesday to meet President Andrés Manuel López Obrado, at a time when border crossings into the US are hitting record numbers, with often as many as 10,000 migrants reaching the southern border per day, as thousands more trek through Mexico.

Moscow denied its large landing ship was fully destroyed after Ukraine attacked the warship moored in Crimea, but admitted it had incurred certain damage.
