Moscow denied its large landing ship was fully destroyed after Ukraine attacked the warship moored in Crimea, but admitted it had incurred certain damage. This appears to be one of Kiev's most significant attacks on the Russian Black Sea Fleet as of recent. The United States says it's launched precision strikes against Iranian-backed militants in Iraq, in response to a drone attack on an American airbase there that injured three servicemen.
US forces hit three sites used by the radical Kata'ib Hezbollah group, a move Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin called "necessary and proportionate."
Iraq condemned the retaliation as — quote — a "clear hostile act."

A plane carrying hundreds of Indian nationals that was grounded for days at an airport in France over human trafficking fears arrived in India on Tuesday.
The chartered flight left with 276 passengers. 25 people including two minors remained in France after applying for asylum. Two suspected traffickers also remained in France for further investigation.
