U.N Security Council delays Gaza vote again

The United Nations Security Council members are still negotiating a
new resolution on Gaza that is expected to be put to a vote on
Tuesday.
A draft resolution has been tabled by the United Arab Emirates calling
for a suspension of hostilities in Gaza to allow for the delivery of
critically needed humanitarian aid into the strip.
The vote has been delayed several times to allow more time for negotiations.

Google to pay out more than one million U.S. customers over high app prices


Google has struck a deal to pay out a total of 700 million dollars to consumers to settle a case over the high fees it charged app developers. Consumers affected are those in the United States and U.S. territories.

US VP announces 'fight for reproductive freedoms' tour

US Vice President Kamala Harris is set to begin a nationwide tour focused on abortion rights in January, her office has announced.


The "Fight for Reproductive Freedoms" tour will include events across the country, beginning in the state of Wisconsin.


Abortion access is set to become a key issue in next year's general election.

US and EU suspend trade war over tariffs

The United States and the European Union will pause their ongoing trade war until after the Presidential election, it was announced on Tuesday. 


Trump-era tariffs on steel and aluminium, and the EU's levies on American goods including motorcycles and whisky, will be suspended until the end of March 2025.

Poll: Americans disapprove of Biden on Gaza

A majority of American voters disapprove of the way President Joe Biden is handling the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians according to a new poll from the New York Times and Siena College.

Suspected ADF Militants Kill Five People in Western Uganda

More than 140 Indian Parliamentarians suspended

Forty nine Parliamentarians, all of them from opposition parties, were suspended on Tuesday.

This takes total suspensions this session to over 140.

Opposition leaders have been demanding a discussion on the security breach in Parliament last week, when two intruders entered the Lower House, shouted slogans and set off a smoke canister.

Federal authorities are investigating the breach. Terrorism charges have been filed against five suspects.
