Russian jailed opposition politician Alexei Navalny is missing from the penal colony where he's serving time, his legal team says. The lawyers haven't been able to access Mr. Navalny, who was due to appear in a court hearing from the prison where he's serving his 11,5 year term, for nearly a week. The prison authorities informed Navalny's team he was no longer among the inmates at that facility. The Kremlin says it's unaware of and is not interested in following Navalny's whereabouts. Special counsel Jack Smith who is investigating former US president Donald Trump has asked the country's highest court to decide whether Mr Trump has any immunity from criminal prosecution for alleged crimes he committed while in office.
