Nigerians Heading for Saudi Pilgrimage Forced Back Home

Nigeria's government says it is investigating the cancellation of visas of Nigerian passengers who were refused entry into Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.


More than 170 Nigerians on a flight to Saudi Arabia were turned back on arrival on Monday after Saudi authorities reportedly abruptly revoked their visas.

Delhi air quality worsens after residents flout ban on firecrackers

US stocks mixed ahead of inflation data

US stocks were little changed on Monday ahead of key inflation data due out this week.


Investors are cautious after the US' credit rating was downgraded last week, and a possible government shutdown looms this weekend.

Indonesian President visits White House (4pm ET)

US President Joe Biden is today hosting his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo at the White House to "reaffirm" their joint commitment to the "nearly 75-year-long partnership between the world's second and third largest democracies."

Indi Gregory, baby at centre of legal battle, dies after life support withdrawn
