Key regional polls begin in India

Millions are voting in two states as a key round of regional elections begin in India.

The central Indian state of Chhattisgarh and north eastern region of Mizoram are among the five states going to the polls this month.

These state elections will set the stage for the general elections next year with analysts saying the results could determine how the ruling and opposition parties will perform in 2024.

Zelensky invites Trump to Ukraine

Delhi extends emergency measures to tackle air pollution

Primary schools in India's capital New Delhi will remain shut for another week,
with no end in sight to the choking smog hanging over the city.

Secondary schools have been given the option of shifting to online classes.

Officials have blamed a combination of stubble burning by farmers, lower temperatures and the lack of wind for the bad air quality.

Nepal residents wait for aid after earthquake kills atleast 150
