UN in desperate negotiations to get aid into Gaza

The United Nations says every effort is being made to get aid supplies
into Gaza.
Martin Griffiths, the UN's humanitarian head says this a desperate
situation facing around one million Gazans that's been uprooted after
the Israeli military warned of an imminent offensive.

Israel says 199 people were captured by Hamas in this month's attacks

Israel is claiming that nearly 200 people were captured by Hamas during the surprise attacks on Israeli territory 9 days ago.


US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is back in Israel for crisis talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after the Palestinian health ministry claimed at least 2,750 people have been killed in Gaza since Israeli reprisals began.

Ukraine says Russia’s biggest offensive in months is failing

Major concern for humanitarian needs as Israel continues attacks on Gaza
