French president supports more autonomy for island of Corsica

UNICEF says Nigeria Needs $3.3 Million to Fight Diphtheria Outbreak

The United Nations Children's Fund says Nigeria needs to raise US$ 3.3 million until the end of the year to respond effectively to the Diphtheria outbreak in the country.

VOLKSWAGEN FACTORIES HIT BY IT OUTAGE

GOP candidates spar in debate

Candidates squaring off to be the nominee for US President have clashed with each other on immigration, healthcare and the economy during the Republican Party's second debate, as they vie to catch frontrunner Donald Trump in the polls.


Seven hopefuls took to the stage in California on Wednesday evening, but the former President was notably absent, instead courting voters in the state of Michigan where thousands of American auto-workers remain on strike. 


During his speech, Mr Trump dunked on his Republican opponents, whilst they condemned him for being "missing in action" and ducking the debate again.

UN calls for more funding for Pakistan after floods

The United Nations has called on Member States to fill the funding
gaps and mobilize more resources for Pakistan.
