The mayor of El Paso, Texas says the city has now reached a "breaking point" - after thousands of migrants have flooded into the city in recent days. To relieve the pressure - officials are busing migrants north.And as Toni Waterman explains from Texas, there are signs that things could soon get a whole lot worse.

Bus company responsible for fatal New York crash was an "unacceptable" operator

The bus operator responsible for a fatal crash in New York was listed
as an "unacceptable operator" by the state of New York after failing
several safety inspections since 2022.
Two teachers were killed and several students injured in the crash.
About 40 students and teachers from the Farmingdale High School's
marching band from Long Island were onboard the bus when it swerved
off Interstate 84.

FRANCE TO PULL TROOPS FROM NIGER

ICJ hears Ukraine vs. Russia 'genocide' case brought by Kyiv

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Hague (Netherlands) is hearing a case brought by Ukraine against Russia, accusing it of falsely applying the so-called "genocide law" to justify its 2022 invasion. Ukraine took Russia to court, the highest UN judicial body court for disputes between the states days after Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale war against the neighbouring country on 24 February 2022. Somalia Bomb Death toll Rises

Nasa collects first asteroid sample in space

The first asteroid sample collected in space by US Space Agency, NASA, has arrived on Earth.

California sues anti-abortion groups

The US state of California is suing anti-abortion groups for claiming they could reverse the effects of the abortion pill.


Heartbeat International and RealOptions told patients that a high dose of the hormone progesterone could undo a termination.


But California accused them of spreading misinformation.
