9/11 defendant can't stand trial due to post-torture PTSD

A defendant charged over the 9/11 attacks is not fit to stand trial in a death-penalty case, according to a military judge at the US detention camp Guantanamo Bay 


Ramzi bin al-Shibh was due to face pretrial proceedings on Friday, but has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, with his lawyer claiming his client was "tortured by the CIA."

US autoworkers extend strike action

More drugs found in New York daycare

Authorities have found more fentanyl under a trapdoor in a New York
daycare where an infant died last week.
During another visit to the daycare centre in the Bronx on Wednesday
police found a large quantity of drugs underneath the floorboards.
The daycare centre operator has been charged with the toddler's death.
