Niger's military Junta has said it would end a military pact with neighbouring Benin republic, accusing it of authorising the deployment of troops on its territory for a possible military intervention by West African bloc, ECOWAS.
ECOWAS has threatened to use force if diplomatic talks with leaders of the January 26th coup in Niger fail to restore democracy in the country.
