Kremlin says Ukraine’s fast-track accession to NATO threatens European security

Moscow says Ukraine's possible accelerated accession to NATO could potentially be very dangerous for European security. The Kremlin also warned that advancing NATO infrastructure further towards Russia's borders would be a mistake. Our correspondent Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.

Cost of riots damage in France tops $700 million

The damage from the riots in France sparked by the fatal shooting of a teenager by police is more than 700 million dollars, according to insurers.

Shops, schools and public buildings were looted and subject to arson attacks during more than a week of unrest in late June and early July.

Nigeria Intercepts Vessel with Stolen Crude, to Destroy it

Nigeria's state-owned oil firm, NNPC Ltd says a vessel carrying 800,000 litres of stolen crude has been intercepted offshore while heading to Cameroon.
