Manhunt for suspects after two killed in Baltimore shooting

Investigators are continuing to search for multiple suspects following a mass shooting in the US city of Baltimore on Sunday. 


Two people were killed and dozens injured, mostly teens, at an annual neighbourhood street party.

Paris Mayor condemns violence after sixth consecutive night of rioting

Uganda Heightens Security After UK Terror Alert

Nine killed in Israeli attack on Palestinian camp

At least nine people have been killed in an Israeli attack on a Palestinian refugee camp in the city of Jenin. Drones were deployed and gunfire was heard across the city in what Israeli forces have called a counterterrorism effort. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has called the incident "a new war crime against our defenceless people". Mia Alberti reports from Beirut.

Thai elephant flown back from Sri Lanka after diplomatic spat

A Thai elephant gifted to Sri Lanka more than two decades ago is back in the country after a diplomatic spat over its alleged abuse.

Unrest continues in India's northeast

4 more people have been killed in fresh violence in India's north eastern region of Manipur. One man was beheaded by a rival gang and three others killed in a gun battle.

It's been two months since the ethnic clashes first broke out and more than 40,000 security forces are still deployed on the ground.

The death toll stands at over 100 now and tens of thousands have been displaced.

The opposition has once again called for the state's chief minister - a leader from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's party - to resign. The government has denied allegations that it has mishandled the situation and has again appealed for calm.
