More than 90 killed as severe heatwave grips north India

As large parts of north India grapple with what officials are calling an 'extreme heatwave', nearly 100 people have died in two of India's most populous states.

Officials are now asking residents to stay indoors as temperatures hover above the 45 degrees Celsius mark.

Conservative MP's Face a Divisive Partygate Report Vote on Monday

Conservative Members of Parliament face a divisive vote on the Boris Johnson Partygate report on Monday. 


The vote in the House of Commons will see MP's vote on whether to approve the findings of the report, which has condemned the former Prime Minister for deliberately misleading Parliament over Covid rule breaking.

15 dead in Canada bus crash

At least 15 people have died in Canada after a bus taking elderly people to a casino crashed into a truck.


The incident happened in the Canadian prairie province of Manitoba on Thursday, two hours west of Winnipeg.


It's one of the most lethal road accidents in recent Canadian history.
