Federal Minister's Home Torched in the Indian State of Manipur

The residence of a federal minister in the Indian state of Manipur was set on fire, as violence between two armed ethnic groups continues.

The lawmaker wasn't at home at the time of the incident, and no injuries have been reported yet.

White man accused of killing black New York performance artist indicted

A white man accused of killing a homeless black man on the New York subway has been indicted by a grand jury.


Last month Daniel Penny was charged with manslaughter for putting street artist Jordan Neely in a fatal chokehold.


Penny, a former US Marine, says he was trying to protect himself and other passengers, and did not intend to kill Neely.
