U.S. stocks fall amid new economic warnings

A drop in tech shares also drove equity indexes lower.

Air India flight set to resume following emergency Russian landing

Air India passengers stuck in Russia are scheduled to resume their journey to San Francisco following the arrival of a replacement plane.


The flight which departed from New Delhi on Tuesday landed at the Magadan airport in a remote region of eastern Russia after a problem with one of its engines.

NYC Mayor urges residents to mask up

New York City Mayor, Eric Adams is urging all New Yorkers with
underlying respiratory conditions to remain indoors.
The city is currently engulfed in unhealthy smog as a result of the
wildfires in Canada.
According to Adams and his health team, this is the worst air quality
dip since the 1960s and has warned citizens to mask up.
City officials say the fine particles currently in the air can get
into people's lungs, cause inflammation and worsen conditions like
asthma, chronic lung disease.

Wildfires cause unhealthy air conditions across much of U.S.

Russia and Ukraine trade barbs at UN

Officials representing Moscow and Kyiv at the United Nations have
accused each other of destroying a dam in Ukraine.
