In the U.S., the fight for the Republican nomination is heating up,
with more than a year to go before the next Presidential election.

On Sunday, White House hopeful Nikki Haley attacked rivals Donald
Trump and Ron DeSantis over their stance on Ukraine.

No survivors after plane crashes near Washington DC, fighter jets scrambled

No survivors have been found among the wreckage of a plane that crashed near Washington DC.


The unresponsive craft flew directly over the nation's capital on Sunday afternoon, above some of the most heavily restricted airspace in the country, causing the US military to scramble fighter jets — their speeds caused a sonic boom felt and heard across the region.

China defends its warship that crossed paths with a US military vessel

China has accused the US of provoking Beijing, as it defends its
sailing warship that crossed the path of an American destroyer in the
Taiwan strait.

Biden hosts Danish PM amid speculation about top NATO job

Death toll increases as unrest spreads in Senegal


There's uneasy calm in Senegal after clashes between police and opposition supporters left at least 15 people killed.
The protests broke out after opposition leader Ousmane Sonko was given a two year jail sentence on Thursday.

England trials Universal Basic Income

A Universal basic income trial is set to take place in England for the first time. 


The plan organised by think tank Autonomy will see participants receive nearly 2000USD (£1600) with no obligations, for a two year period.

India probes deadly train crash

A train crash in India that killed 275 people and left more than 1000 injured was likely caused by a signalling error, according to the country's Railways Minister.

The Indian government has said a detailed report will be released soon. But for families of the victims of one of India's deadliest rail tragedies, there are still many unanswered questions.

Many are still struggling to locate the whereabouts of their kin and about 167 bodies remain unidentified.

HK Police Arrest Five and Detain More than 20 on Tiananmen Anniversary

Two more Oath Keepers sentenced for Jan 6th attack

Two members of US far-right group Oath Keepers have been sentenced for their role in the January 6th attack on the Capitol.


They are the latest participants to receive jail time for their role in the plot to stop the transfer of power from Donald Trump to President Joe Biden following the 2020 election.


David Moerschel was sentenced on Friday to three years in prison for seditious conspiracy.


Florida chiropractor Joseph Hackett received three and a half years.

An 8-year-old who died in US Border custody denied ambulance 3 times
