India's foreign minister has challenged comments from the EU's foreign policy chief which called for a crackdown on Indian refined products using Russian crude oil being exported to the bloc.

India has increased its imports of Russian crude over the past year.

US could agree debt deal by end of week

The US could have a debt ceiling deal by the end of the week,
according to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

He was optimistic following a meeting at the White House with

Biden's cabinet fears budget cuts threaten China strategy

Three senior cabinet members in US President Joe Biden's administration are warning that proposed budget cuts could undermine Washington's ability to compete with China.

Biden meets with Congressional leaders to hash out debt agreement

Ukraine shoots down hypersonic missiles

Ukraine claims to have downed a volley of Russian hypersonic missiles for the first time.

Kinzhal missiles can travel at up to 10 times the speed of sound and are among Moscow's most powerful weapons.
