Mayorkas heads to southern border ahead of the lifting of Title 42

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is headed to the US southern border Thursday and Friday - exactly one week before Title 42 lifts. That pandemic-era policy has allowed border patrol to turn people away and without it in place, officials are bracing for a flood of migrants.  Toni Waterman has more from Texas.

US denies involvement in Kremlin drone attack

The US has denied Russian claims that Washington was behind a drone
attack in Moscow, calling the allegations "lies".

It comes after Russian authorities said they had downed two drones
over the Kremlin, claiming Ukraine was trying to assassinate Russia
president Vladimir Putin.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the US was "undoubtedly" behind
the attack, with Kyiv carrying out Washington's orders.

US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters at
the White House Washington had played no part in the incident.

Italy's foreign minister cancels trip to Paris over "insults" by French minister


Italy's foreign minister Antonio Tajani has called off a trip to Paris at the last minute, accusing a French government minister of insulting his country.

In a radio interview, France's interior minister Gerald Darmanin said Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was "unable to solve the migration problems on which she was elected."

He also accused her of "lying" to Italian voters.

President Zelensky visits the Netherlands and the ICC

Atlanta shooter arrested

Police have arrested the person responsible for a deadly shooting in Atlanta.
A former U.S Coast Guard was taken into custody.

ECB raises interest rates again but slows pace

Rwanda Landslide Death Toll Rises to 130

Manhunt underway for Atlanta gunman

A manhunt is underway in the US city of Atlanta for a gunman who
opened fire in a medical center.

One person was killed in the attack and another four injured, three of
them critically.

Patterson and say he fled the scene after carjacking a vehicle.
