The New York Times has lost its Twitter verified badge, after refusing to pay for the blue checkmark.
The social media site's billionaire owner Elon Musk has been pushing $8-per-month Twitter Blue subscription as a way to remain verified on the platform.

Donald Trump is travelling to New York City on Monday ahead of a court hearing on Tuesday.
