Train carrying ethanol derails in Minnesota forcing evacuation

A train carrying ethanol has derailed in the US state of Minnesota forcing residents to evacuate.


Several cars erupted into flames after the crash in the small city of Raymond in the early hours of the morning.

Nine dead in U.S. military helicopter crash

All nine people onboard two military Black Hawk helicopters have died
after a crash during a training mission in the U.S. state of Kentucky.

The incident occurred around 25 miles from a military base.

Uganda Deploys a Thousand Soldiers to DR Congo Under EA Regional Force

Uganda has flagged off about 1000 soldiers to the Democratic Republic of Congo as part of the East African Regional Force to protect civilians and property in the areas occupied by the M23 Rebels.

They join Kenya, Angola, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Burundi forces that are already in the country.


Over 130 armed groups are based in Eastern DR Congo and have destabilized the mineral-rich country for decades.
