Grand jury to hear more testimony in Trump case

A grand jury is set to hear more testimony Monday ahead of a decision on whether to charge Donald Trump.


The former president has suggested that he could be arrested as early as Tuesday in connection to allegations he paid hush money to a porn star ahead of the 2016 election.

KENYA PROTESTS


Three Kenyan legislators and several protesters have been arrested in protests in Kenya's capital, Nairobi, organized by the opposition demanding the resignation of President William Ruto. Hundreds of demonstrators could  not reach the planned  meeting point  as  police used  teargas to disperse them.

Votes of no-confidence could bring down French government

(VOTE NOT BEFORE 15GMT Mon 20th) On Monday, French MPs will debate and vote on two motions of no-confidence that have been tabled by the opposition.

If either of the motions pass, the French prime minister would resign and the President would either appoint a new premier or dissolve parliament and call a snap election.

Ukraine UN Ambassador welcomes ICC arrest warrant for Putin

Ukraine Ambassador to the United Nations, Sergiy Kyslytsya has told

ICC issues arrest warrant for President Putin

The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and one other Russian official.


It says there are reasonable grounds to believe that President Putin 'bears individual criminal responsibility' for an alleged scheme to deport thousands of Ukrainian children to Russia.

Hospital workers charged for Irvo Otieno death

Three US hospital workers have been charged with the second-degree murder of a young Black man at a psychiatric hospital.


Irvo Otieno was taken into custody on March 3 after experiencing mental health distress.

Recalled eyedrops linked with death and injury

Elevated levels of carcinogenic chemicals found in soil of Ohio train derailment

Carcinogenic chemicals have been found in soil samples from East Palestine - the city in Ohio where a train derailed in early February.
