US: Russian jets collides with US drone over Black Sea

The US says a Russian fighter jet has collided with an American
unmanned Reaper drone over the Black Sea, causing it to crash.

The Pentagon has accused Moscow of "unsafe and unprofessional" conduct.

Meta to cut an additional 10,000 jobs

US inflation cools slightly in February bur prices are still rising

Prices in the US are still rising at a fast pace according to government figures released today.


The Consumer Price Index rose 0.4 per cent in February, showing only a slight cooling in inflation from the previous month.

Russia agrees to extend grain deal for sixty days

The United Nations says it will continue to negotiate with Russia
regarding the Black Sea Grain Initiative. Russia on Monday announced
that it will agree to a 60 day extension.
The initiative came about after negotiations by the United Nations and
Turkiye last July with Russia and Ukraine to allow for grain and
fertiliser exports to continue despite the ongoing war.
