US regulators have taken control of the tech-focused lender Silicon Valley Bank, following a run on deposits.

President Joe Biden insists his economic plan is "working" and the country is "heading in the right direction" after the US posted another strong jobs report.
The economy added 311,000 jobs in February, according to the Labor Department's closely watched monthly employment snapshot released on Friday.
But that figure represents a relative decline from a blockbuster January report, when a revised 504,000 jobs were added. The unemployment rate has also ticked up slightly to 3.6%.

Authorities in Nigeria's southwest state of Lagos are investigating a train accident which has led to the death of six persons in the state.
79 other passengers involved in the accident have sustained injuries and are receiving medical attention in hospital.
