Hot job market in the United States earns Biden praise, but fuels inflation woes

President Joe Biden insists his economic plan is "working" and the country is "heading in the right direction" after the US posted another strong jobs report.

The economy added 311,000 jobs in February, according to the Labor Department's closely watched monthly employment snapshot released on Friday.

But that figure represents a relative decline from a blockbuster January report, when a revised 504,000 jobs were added. The unemployment rate has also ticked up slightly to 3.6%.

Our US Correspondent Benji Hyer has the details.
