Russia maintains the West is responsible and says the world must find

To pass the resolution, Russia will need all members to vote, yes -

Italy's PM visits President Zelensky in Kyiv

Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is visiting Kyiv as the one-year anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine approaches on Friday.

More than 16,000 civilians killed in Ukraine

The UK's Ministry of Defense says the number of civilians killed in

Nigeria Records 68 New Cases of Lassa Fever, 15 Deaths in One Week

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has reported 68 additional Lassa fever infections and 15 deaths in the 6th week of 2023,.

The NCDC in its latest situation report  revealed that the new cases bring the total number of confirmed cases and deaths recorded in 2023 to 531 and 85 respectively.

Lassa fever is an acute viral haemorrhagic fever caused by consuming foods contaminated by rats.

Biden to give speech in Warsaw

RESCUE OPERATIONS AFTER NEW TURKEY QUAKE

Rescue operations continue in Turkey and Syria after the region was hit by another earthquake.

The 6.4 magnitude tremor was centred in Hatay - one of the areas worst hit by huge earthquakes earlier this month.

At least three people have died and many more are injured or trapped.
