China says it is committed to brokering peace between Russia and Ukraine

China is dismissing US suggestions it could be planning to offer military support to Russia for its war in Ukraine. Beijing says it’s committed to finding peace, and is rejecting comparisons with its own territorial claims over the self-governed island of Taiwan.

Record number of guns seized in U.S. at airport security

In the last year, more than 6500 guns were found at airport checkpoints across the U.S.

It's the highest number discovered by the Transportation Security Administration.

President Carter, 98, remains under hospice care
