Number of Chinese nationals attempting to cross U.S. southern border soars more than 1,000%

The number of Chinese nationals attempting to illegally cross the U.S. southern border skyrocketed more than 1,000 percent in January. According to new government data, border patrol agents apprehended more than a thousand Chinese immigrants, extending a trend that started last year.

U.S. recovery mission finds electronics and sensors from Chinese balloon


The U.S. military has retrieved electronics from the suspected Chinese spy balloon that was shot down on February 4th.

Since then they've taken down three other objects from U.S. and Canadian airspace, but little has been revealed about what they are or where they came from.

Elections Won’t Hold in 240 Polling Units, says Nigeria’s Electoral Body – INEC

Nigeria's electoral body - The Independent National Electoral Commission says elections will not be held in 240 polling units in 28 states and the Capital Abuja.


INEC says this is because no voter chose the polling units during the last Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) between June 2021 and July 2022.

India to receive second tranche of cheetahs as part of its conservation plan

India is set to receive its second tranche of African cheetahs as the country moves ahead with its efforts to reintroduce the extinct animal back into the wild.

Stocks up ahead of key inflation data

Calls for information after more mysterious objects shot out of sky over US

US lawmakers are demanding transparency as officials face mounting pressure to explain the downing over North America of three unidentified objects in as many days. 


The US military shot down another object on Sunday — the fourth such incident since a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon was destroyed near America's east coast earlier this month.
