He wants the U.S. to free him and other wrongfully detained dual nationals.

Mafia boss in Italy arrested after 30 years on the run

The most-wanted Mafia boss in Italy has been arrested.

UK police officer admits to dozens of sexual offences over two decades


In the UK, a police officer has pleaded guilty to committing 49 incidents of rape or sexual assault involving 12 women over two decades.

Teachers in England and Wales could walk out over pay

Thousands of teachers across England and Wales could go on strike next month in a dispute over pay.


The National Education Union is expected to announce the results of its latest ballot on Monday after a breakdown of talks with the government.


Meanwhile, some schools in Scotland are closed this week after teachers walked out calling for a ten percent pay rise to match soaring inflation.

UK TO ALLOW POLICE TO DISRUPT PROTESTS EARLIER

California prepares for more rain and snow after devastating storm

The US state of California is preparing for more rain and snow after a severe storm killed at least 19 people and left millions of others under a flood watch.

The National weather service warned people living in the central and southern areas of the state to be braced for possible mudslides and floods.

Biden & Kishida strengthen defense agreements

US President Joe Biden has promised to modernize America's military

White House says President Biden did not get advanced notice of special counsel announcement

The White House has disclosed that Joe Biden was not informed in advance of Attorney General Merrick Garland's decision to appoint a special counsel to investigate the US President's handling of classified documents.
