SEC charges Sam Bankman-Fried with fraud

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has charged FTX founder
Sam Bankman-Fried with fraud.

The former cryptocurrency exchange CEO was arrested in the Bahamas Monday.

U.S. prosecutors have unseal an indictment charging him with eight
counts including wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

One billion euros pledged for Ukraine at Paris summit

More than 40 nations have pledged a billion euros, or just over 1 billion dollars, to support Ukraine to get through the winter.

UK Prime Minister unveils new plan to tackle asylum backlog

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has announced a new five-point plan aimed at tackling the UK's asylum backlog.

This year has seen more small boat crossings of the English Channel from France than ever before.

Allied Democratic Forces Rebels-ADF Attack Village in Western Uganda

COVID-19: Nigeria Relaxes Travel Protocols, Cancels PCR Test

Alleged Lockerbie bomb maker will not face death penalty

US prosecutors say they will not seek the death penalty for the Libyan
intelligence officer accused of making the bomb which killed 270
people in the 1988 Lockerbie disaster.
