Nigeria Launches New Bank Notes to Stop Fraud

POLAND ASKS GERMANY TO SEND MISSILE DEFENCE SYSTEM TO UKRAINE

STRIKE ACTION ACROSS UK

One of the biggest days of strike action this year is taking place in the UK in a series of disputes over pay, jobs and conditions.

Scotland's teachers are staging their first national walkout in almost 40 years, meaning many schools will close.

Around 70-thousand university lecturers across the UK are beginning a two-day strike.

And members of the Communication Workers Union at Royal Mail are also staging a 48-hour strike which is expected to have an impact on Black Friday deliveries.

Australia - Organised crime collaborating to import illegal drugs

Police in Australia say organised crime groups are increasingly working together in order to evade law enforcement.

 

Sydney detectives with the help of the Australian Federal Police, Border Force and the U-S Department of Homeland Security, have smashed a major drug racket, seizing hundreds of kilograms of meth and cocaine.

Daily COVID Cases in China Hit New Peak

Daily COVID cases in China have touched a new record as containment efforts fail to stop the spread of the virus.

Danish meat company announces new factory in UK

EU parliamentarians label Russia as "state sponsor of terrorism"

Members of the European Parliament have labeled Russia as a "state sponsor of terrorism" in a legally-non binding resolution.
