UK finance minister Kwasi Kwarteng sacked


The UK finance minister Kwasi Kwarteng has been sacked.

Prime Minister Liz Truss is expected to announce a U-turn on her economic strategy in a press conference later.

Nigerian Court Drops Charges Against Separatist Leader, Nnamdi Kanu

The Appeal court in Nigeria has discharged leader of separatist group, Nnamdi Kanu of 15 count terrorism charges brought against him by the Nigerian government.

 

He leads the proscribed secessionist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who are agitating for the creation of an independent state in South-eastern Nigeria.

Indian students who fled Ukraine to be admitted in Uzbekistan's universities

S Korea sanctions Pyongyang for first time in five years
