Japan and United States vow to boost defenses in response to North Korea missile launch
Japan, South Korea and the United States are resolving to strengthen their defenses in response to Tuesday's missile launch by North Korea.

EU approves rules mandating single charger for all smartphones from 2024
People living in the European Union will no longer have to keep a handful of different chargers for their tech devices from the end of 2024.
That's after lawmakers in the European Parliament gave final backing to legislation that will force manufacturers of mobile phones and some other gadgets to fit all devices with USB-C charging ports.
