A NASA spacecraft is deliberately slamming into an asteroid — all in the name of planetary protection.
The DART mission, or the Double Asteroid Redirection Test, is set to crash on Monday evening (Eastern Time) into Dimorphos, a small moon in an asteroid system 11 million kilometres from Earth.

At least 15 people including 11 children are dead after a gunman opened fire at a school in Russia.
The attack took place in the city of Izhevsk in the center of the country.
The gunman killed himself at the scene, and was reportedly wearing clothing adorned with a swastika symbol.
