Sudan Civil Service Strikes

Pressure piles on Trump with FBI and NY investigations

Bank of England raises interest rates
The Bank of England has raised interest rates by 0.5 percent.
The UK's central bank also warned the country may already be in a recession, as it announced rates are going up to 2.25 percent.

Chinese space team takes top accolade at the IAF Space awards in Paris

China's space ambitions are clearly coming ahead in leaps and bounds, with the IAF saying the Tianwen-1 team has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of deep space exploration technology.

The world is failing the people of Myanmar: UN Special Rapporteur
The United Nations' Special Rapporteur for the human rights situation in Myanmar says the world is failing the people of the violence-stricken southeast Asian country.
Speaking to journalists in Geneva, Tom Andrews said atrocities are being committed in Myanmar; he warned the human rights situation is worsening and said people are enduring "living hell."
