UK Prime Minister Liz Truss holds first meeting with new-look cabinet


The new UK Prime Minister Liz Truss has held her first cabinet meeting, with soaring energy bills at the top of the agenda.

In her first speech outside 10 Downing Street on Tuesday, she pledged to take action on rising prices "this week."

Russia-Ukraine War: Nigeria and Poland sign Agreements on Agriculture and Gas

Torrential Rains Batter India's Silicon Valley - Bangalore

UN Security Council meet to discuss Zaporizhzhia concerns

Juul to pay $438.5 million to U.S. states over marketing vapes to teenagers

RUSSIA REACTS TO NUCLEAR POWER PLANT REPORT

Students in Uvalde, Texas returned to the classroom on Tuesday for the first time since a May massacre left 19 children and two teachers dead.

EU unveils plans to add new hurdles for Russian visa applicants

The European Commission has unveiled plans to make travel to the EU more difficult for Russian citizens as Moscow's war in Ukraine continues. 

The proposals, expected to be approved within days, include suspending a visa facilitation scheme with Moscow, and banning recognition of Russian passports issued in occupied regions of Ukraine.

Central suspect in major U.S. Navy bribery scandal missing after escaping house arrest
