Russia announces "routine maintenance" of Nord Stream One, raising fears across Europe
The German government says it's concerned Russia may be planning to tighten energy supplies after Moscow claimed it needs to carry out "routine maintenance" on the critical Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline.
The pipeline is shutting for the next 10 days after the sudden announcement from Moscow.

Boris Johnson won't endorse any candidate to succeed him
Boris Johnson says he won't be endorsing any of the 11 candidates who have declared an interest in replacing him as Conservative Party leader and UK Prime Minister.
He says he worries that an endorsement could damage the chances of any candidate he selects.
The party's 1922 Committee that runs the election says the field of 11 will be narrowed down to two choices by next Thursday, through a series of votes of the Conservative parliamentary party.
