Johnson, refusing to resign, faces massive challenges filling government vacancies

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is refusing to resign, insisting that he plans to replace more than 40 ministers who have quit over his handling misconduct allegations leveled against one a former senior member of his government.

Instead, he says he will unveil a new economic strategy for the country on Thursday and begin the process of filling the enormous number of vacancies that now exist within his government.
