Biden nominates new US ambassador to Ukraine

The U.S. is renewing diplomatic operations in Kyiv this week, on the heels of a visit to Ukraine by two of America’s top officials.


The US embassy will reopen for the first time since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24th.


President Joe Biden has also nominated the current US ambassador to Slovakia to lead the US team.

Sudan's Dafur Violence
