NIGERIA TO CLAMPDOWN ON ILLEGAL REFINERIES IN THE COUNTRY

World leaders welcome Emmanuel Macron's re-election as French President

JOHNSON DISTANCES HIMSELF FROM 'MISOGYNISTIC' CLAIMS

Boris Johnson has written to opposition deputy leader Angela Rayner to distance himself from claims he says are misogynistic.

A story in the Mail on Sunday newspaper claimed Ms Rayner crosses and uncrosses her legs to distract the British prime minister in the House of Commons.

It was attributed to an anonymous Conservative MP.
